About Coinwaltz

It started with a camera that never really left the house.

I bought my first proper one because I wanted to take better photos on trips, and then spent months annoyed by everything around it. The strap dug into my neck. The bag looked like a bag full of expensive electronics, which is exactly what you do not want when you are walking around a city you do not know. Memory cards lived loose in a pocket until one of them went missing with a whole weekend on it. None of these were big problems on their own. Together they were enough to make me leave the camera at home more often than I should have.

So I started looking for better versions of all of it, and that search turned into Coinwaltz. The company behind the shop is registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce under the name ANAS Verkoop, KvK number 92011136, and has been trading since 9 November 2023. It is a sole proprietorship run from Rijswijk, which means one person choosing what goes in the shop and one person answering when you send a message. My name is Anas Ben Aissa and there is no team behind me, which I think is worth saying out loud.

Coinwaltz sells online only, under the registered activity of retail in hobby and leisure articles. What that means in practice is straps, harnesses, bags, cases, card holders, posing guides, and the small things that make a shoot go smoothly. I look for items that solve an actual problem rather than items that photograph well in a product shot. If something does not hold up to being carried around every day, it does not stay in the range.

I still shoot, mostly on weekends and mostly badly, and I use most of what we sell. When someone writes in to ask whether a bag fits a particular setup or whether a harness works with an older body, I usually know because I have tried it.
